Google Docs Workflow
Workflow Steps Website Edit:
Website edits will come in via the websites@pizzazzgroup.com email or directly to Carson’s email.
Internal team (resquest comes to websites@pizzazzgroup.com) or Carson (requeste comes to carson@pizzazzgroup.com) will place the website edit request in Google Docs.
Once the task is complete, highlight the task YELLOW to indicate the edit has been complete.
Carson will review if the task has been completed and highlight to GREEN if approved.
Once approved, if inquiry was received through websites@pizzazzgroup.com, repond to the customer letting them know that their edit has been complete. You can then delete out the task.
Once approved, if the inquiry came in through Carson’s email, he’ll respond to the customer letting them know their edit is complete and he’ll remove the task off the Google Docs.
HOW LONG SHOULD WEBSITE EDITS TAKE? Most website edits are completed within a few hours of receiving the request, as the majority take only 5–15 minutes. If an edit is expected to take more than one hour, please notify Carson, since customers’ plans include up to one hour of edits. Any work beyond that requires approval. You can usually determine this by reviewing the task’s estimated time.
HOW DO WE KNOW HOW MANY HOURS A CUSTOMER HAS USED FOR THE MONTH? After each edit, fill out the Google Sheets document within the Pizzazz Group account labeled Website Edits. Here is the link for review. CLICK HERE
Workflow Steps For Projects:
Carson will assign the projects to your section in Google Sheets.
Once the task is complete, highlight the task YELLOW to indicate project has been complete.
Carson will review if the project has been completed and highlight to GREEN if approved.
HOW LONG SHOULD PROJECTS TAKE? Before assigning a project, Carson will let you know the expected completion timeframe. This is usually communicated in the weekly meeting or at the time the project is assigned.
How To Know What To Focus On First:
Your Monday individual meeting will cover your tasks in addition to the order listed in the Google Docs. Website edits should be completed and delivered to the client within a few hours of receiving the request.
