Who gets access to our GoDaddy Account?

The development team is the only department with access to the login credentials. Pizzazz Group’s GoDaddy login information shouldn’t be provided to other departments within Pizzazz Group, third party vendors or external customers unless approved by Carson or Sheri.

 

If there is a request made, you will need to contact Carson or Sheri immediately.

What products on GoDaddy do we NOT use?
  • Website Builder
  • Hosting
  • SSL Certificates
If you see a product that isn't being utilized but you could see being beneficial, should it be brought to attention?

Yes, absolutely!

Do we share customer GoDaddy account information with any departments outside of the development team?

Not without Carson or Sheri’s approval.

Examples:

  1. Sales rep asking about similiar websites to show customers within their proposals. Sales reps asking for a list of customers within a certain industry. Customer asking for examples of different websites we can do.

These requests need to be brought to Carson or Sheri by the Sales Rep or the customer making the request.

Reason:

  1. We have non competes with customers in which we can’t share their information to the point of referring to that company’s name.  The other reason is some company’s owners “have the time” to share about their experience with us and others don’t. Carson and Sheri have an understanding the list of companies that we provide as referrals. Again, this has to do with our process, we know you are busy and there is a process that we follow. If a sales rep needs information, they will need to submit a ticket and it would be approved by Carson or Sheri.

If requests are being made to you directly, you will need to contact Carson or Sheri immediately so they can have a simple conversation of the sales rep or customer needing to place a ticket. The customer and sales rep are well aware that that this is the process and the process needs to be followed.

Do we fulfill requests that are not in Jira?

Not without Carson or Sheri’s approval.

Examples:

  1. Sales rep or customer comes to you and asks to you to complete a project.

These requests need to be brought to Carson or Sheri by the Sales Rep or the customer making the request.

Reason:

  1. All projects will come from Carson or Sheri. This is to ensure that we are doing projects that are approved and paid. Also, we have a process in which we work through accounts

Examples:

  1. Sales rep or customer comes to you and asks to you to put a period on the end of a sentence.

These requests need to be brought to Carson or Sheri by the Sales Rep or the customer making the request.

Reason:

  1. Even though this is a 2 second edit, we have a process to follow. We also understand that if we have multiple requests a day come in from a sales rep that this adds up and the request may not be the most important edit to be complete. All requests must be sent in with a ticket from the sales rep to Carson or Sheri and then they will place the project in Jira.

If requests are being made to you directly, you will need to contact Carson or Sheri immediately so they can have a simple conversation of the customer or sales rep needing to place a ticket.
