How We Use inmotion
Logging In To WordPress
We use inmotion to host all of our domains. In inmotion we use WordPress to build our websites. We do not allow any external customers, third party vendors, or other employees outside of the development team access to our inmotion account.
Creating A Dev Site Without Domain
We create cPanels within inmotion for each domain we host. In this instance we do not have the domain registered with GoDaddy or the website isn’t ready to be switched over yet. So we make a new subdomain in the development cPanel.
Website Migration
We are able to manually transfer a website from a development cPanel to any other cPanel we create for a new domain.
Manual Website Backup
We can manually backup or websites by exporting the database and WordPress content through the file manager.

An SSL certificate is a digital certificate that authenticates a website’s identity and enables an encrypted connection.
Automatic Website Backup
Automatic backups are scheduled backups through inmotion. We can choose the date and time for these backups to occur.
File Manager Information
The file manager within your cPanel is a tool that enables users to perform file management tasks. You can access the WordPress website files from a single location.
