Post Production

Submitting To Matterport

Step 1 – Login in to the Matterport Capture App on your cell phone, use the Pizzazz Group login information
Step 2 – Duplicate the job 3x. This will give you 3 different scans.
Step 3 – Start building out the location with frames, windows, mirrors, etc. You want to make sure that you are pointing the frames to the correct direction and also make it tighter than needed so it cuts off areas where the shoot isn’t as crisp.
Step 3 – I typically will send 2 different options to Matterport so if one doesn’t publish how I want, then I have a backup, I also would have the third that I do not touch if I need to do anything to this project and both published options don’t come back how I’d like…I can do the process again. I recommend to make the 2 published scans different with placing the frames closer or farther or electing to not place a window and completely framing, so you can see which one comes back as the best finished project. It typically takes 2-6 hours to publish a location based on the size and how many locations Matterport needs to publish.

3D Tour Review Before Adding Features

Step 1 Initial Load – Make sure that when you select “play” that it looks clean and you see edges of the building rooms.
Step 2 Dollhouse View – Will allow you to see different angles around the building.
Step 3 Floor Plan View – Will give you a birdseye view of the building.
Step 4 Scans – Make sure there is a good transition from scan to scan and make sure your scans are a good space apart and that there is no person in the view within each scan.
Step 5 Scans – Make sure there isn’t any “O My Gosh” momments where you totally forgot to keep doors open or there is trash cans in rooms or there is customers names and phone numbers on a white board.
